Uploading and tagging photos on Facebook allows you to connect with friends and share memorable, special or funny moments from your life. With Facebook privacy settings, you control the visibility of the content you post on Facebook. If your friends are unable to view your tagged Facebook photos, it is likely that you've adjusted your privacy settings to prevent them from doing so. You can correct this in just a few clicks.

If your friends are unable to view photos that you uploaded and in which you are tagged, the issue almost certainly is with your privacy settings. Sign in to your Facebook account using your email address and password. Open the "Account" drop-down menu by clicking the tab in the upper right corner of any page. Click the "Privacy Preferences" option to adjust your privacy settings. Place a check in the box next to "Let friends of people tagged in my photos and posts see them" to allow friends of friends to access photos uploaded by you. Click the "Customize settings" link. On the resulting page, open the "Posts by me" drop-down menu and select an option to make your photos visible to "Everyone," "Friends of Friends" or "Friends Only," or select the "Customize" option and use the resulting pop-up window to allow or restrict the visibility of your photos to individual users. Click the "Edit privacy settings for existing photo albums and videos" to adjust your privacy preferences for each of your albums. Use the individual drop-down menu under each album to set your preferences for all photos within the album.

If your friends are unable to view photos that you're tagged in that were uploaded by other friends, you may be able to correct this by adjusting your privacy settings. However, if the issue is with your friend's privacy settings, your only option is to suggest an adjustment on his part. Sign in to your Facebook account using your email address and password. Open the "Account" drop-down menu by clicking the tab in the upper right corner of any page. Click the "Privacy Preferences" option to adjust your privacy settings. If you want to hide your photos from your friends, navigate to Photos, select Albums, and click on Edit album. Change the audience settings to Specific Friends or Only me.

By default your Facebook wall displays "stories," including comments you've made on others' photos. However, your friends will see a comment if they can also see the photo. For example, if you comment on a friend's photo, only mutual friends will see the comment on your wall, but if you comment on a photo on a public page or a friend's profile that is open to the public, everyone will see the comment on your wall. Stories your friends can see on your wall may also appear in their news feeds.

When you comment on a friend's photo, anyone who can see your friend's photo can also see your comment, even if they're not your friends. If your friend's photos are publicly visible, anyone can see your comment. In addition, friends of anyone tagged in a photo can see the photo and comments.

To ensure your wall is displaying only the activities you want your Facebook friends to see, Facebook offers a "View As" tool, enabling you to see what your friends see on your wall. To use the "View As" tool, log in to Facebook, click "Edit Profile" and click "View As." Your profile will appear as it does to the public. You can also type the name of one of your Facebook friends to see how your profile appears to them. After you make changes to your privacy settings, you can return to this page to see how they affect the appearance of your wall.

Facebook designed the option to hide likes so that users will focus more on the photos and videos rather than the likes. This could make for a healthier, more positive environment in which users have the freedom to express themselves. As a result, we may be able to see creativity flourish as creators get the courage to experiment and exhibit their originality.

For example, Califia Farms chooses to display sections about their events, reviews, photos and videos. Additionally, they choose to include sections about their brand and their community. This keeps the Page minimal while displaying only the most important information.

You can also customize who can see your friends list by choosing Specific Friends or Friends Except. Specific Friends only includes people you designate, and Friends Except excludes specific people on your list.

What about all the people you asked to be your friend who ignored or deleted your request? Facebook keeps track of that. Go to facebook.com/friends/requests(Opens in a new window) for a list of the people who hate you. Or maybe they just don't check Facebook that much. Probably both.
