Even though it's literally free there's so much to do that you'll end up spending more than playing it. One of the reasons I play games such as this is because I know I'll spend way too much time doing things I really don't want to, like meeting other players or flying around in an aircraft that is way more comfortable than any human built machine could ever be.
The objective of the game is to complete as many missions as you can. The best way of doing this is to gain as many ratings as possible. After that you can use the income to purchase specific aircraft such as the Hawk, F154, Rafale, and F15E. Each of these aircraft has a different purpose and is tailored to take advantage of this.
The overall gameplay is quite good, however there are a few drawbacks - such as the jetwash around the carrier. If you make a little mistake or are a bit off course you'll end up popping out of the sky when the jetwash flares out.
That's where I feel the game shines though, because of the ridiculously addictive gameplay. You'll be leaving the ground with a big smile on your face. I would suggest playing this on a relatively high spec PC from the years 2020 to 2029.
If you're familiar with games such as Battlefield then you'll feel right at home here. The gameplay consists mainly of dogfights that take place on various maps. If you want to practice flying then certainly follow your instinct and you should be able to unlock plenty of missions and fly through the game quite quickly.
